Through the Omenpatsh has released, and it's very interested in spiders and wants you to be also! There are a number of cards in the set that provide good value to a deck running a lot of spiders, so that's what we're going to try to abuse in this 4C pile. Zora, Spider Fancier is a soul sister that also puts +1/+1 counters on any of our spiders that ETB. Demera, Soul of a Spider is a 2 drop that lets us draw cards on spider ETB. Kraza, the Swarm as One gives all of our spiders riot, i.e., haste or more +1/+1 counters. Kraza also has some pretty serious hate bear vibes, shutting down counterspells, stifles and fogs! All of these effects are quite good if we can widely apply them to our creatures.

Spiders however aren't the greatest and tend to be a bit pricy while we'd much rather stay low to the ground. That's why we're running Leyline of Transformation to turn all of our creatures into spiders! This allows us to play powerful non spider creatures like Novice Inspector and Floodpits Drowner as a more powerful and cheaper baseline to the spider value than your average "true" spider in Standard. Drowner is already great. A Drowner with haste that draws a card, gets a +1/+1 counter and gains a life is actually pretty strong!

We've got some of the cheaper spiders from OM1 to help fix our mana and provide value out of the box. Ademi of the Silkchutes is a card I'll be playing a ton of in white decks as a Heroic Intervention on a stick that can also be an evasive attacker! Cren, Undercity Dreamer is another cheap source of +1/+1 counters to help us close games quicker. Tarantusk, Unwisely Awoken is a 2 mana lord for Spiders.

Four colors gives us access to the interaction an hate we need to survive and maybe get enough value off our honorary arachnids to survive. It's a fun deck that is admittedly janky but quite impressive if it goes off. Let's see if we can catch some wins like flies in the Platinum tier!
