■ Ingredients (Serves 2)
・2 bowls of rice (400g)
・200g pork belly block
・1 slice of thinly sliced ginger
・2 egg yolks
・Sprouts (to taste)
☆Sauce
・1 tablespoon sake
・1 tablespoon mirin
・1/2 tablespoon sugar
・2 tablespoons soy sauce
■ Steps
(1) Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces.
(2) Place the pork and ginger in a heat-resistant container and add water (not listed in the recipe: appropriate amount) until the meat is just covered. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for about 5 minutes. Rinse under running water and drain.
(3) Put the ingredients marked with ☆ into another heat-resistant container, mix, add the pork, mix and let sit for about 10 minutes. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes. Turn the meat over, cover with plastic wrap again, cook for 3 minutes and leave to cool (braised pork).
(4) Place rice in a bowl and top with the braised pork, sprouts and egg yolk, then pour the remaining braised pork sauce over it.
