I tend to have stronger memories of shareware episodes for quite a few games in the 90s, but it's hard to forget the final map of Wolfenstein 3D Episode 3.

Episode 3 immediately sets itself up to be better than E2, by not having any mutants. (I was hoping for relatively fewer; I wasn't expecting none, but I sure as heck won't complain, either.)

I suppose the secret level of E3 could also be considered somewhat memorable... and now that I think about it, it's an interesting coincidence that Wolfenstein 3D E3M10 and Doom II map31-32 both reference earlier games.
