With NXT Takeover Chicago in the books, Samoa Joe takes to the ring to cut a promo. The first match sees Shinsuke Nakamoura facing Hideo Itami where the winner will recieve a future title shot at the NXT Championship. Nakamoura and Itami both bring their A game, but in the end Hideo Itami picks up the win. Next is a tag team match where American Alpha take on Blake and Murphy for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Champions the Revival. Unfortunately Blake and Murphy's loosing streak continues, and American Alpha head to NXT Takeover Respect to meet the Revival. A triple threat women's match is next where Alicia Fox, Auska, and Bayley battle to face Alexa Bliss for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover Respect. All three women have something to proove, but having already lost the title is enough for Auska to choke out Alicia Fox for the win. In the main event of NXT, champion Samoa Joe takes on the returning Appolo Crews. If Appolo Crews defeats Samoa Joe, than he will face Samoa Joe at NXT Takeover Respect for the NXT Championship. Not only does Appolo Crews pin Samoa Joe, but he definitely shows that Appolo Crews may be the next NXT champion, but Samoa Joe isn't finished yet.
