With Extreme Rules in the record books, we now look forward to the next Pay Per View event Payback. The new WWE All-Star Champion Sami Zayn opens Raw with a victory promo, but who will get the first shot at the new title? The first match of the night has the new United States Champion Sheamus taking on Cesaro in a singles match. Until Braun Strowman heads to ringside to chear on Cesaro, and apparently with Strowman at ringside Cesaro's power reaches over 9000 allowing him to quickly hit boyh his signature and finisher, and defeat the United States Champion with no effort at all. Finn Balor heads to the ring and challenges Sami Zayn to a non-title match later on tonight, and if Finn Balor wins he will receive a title shot at Payback. Sasha Banks takes on Paige in a singles match, and to my surprise Paige fights with pure aggregation. Sasha is defeated by Paige and will now officially defend her Women's Championship against Paige at Payback. With both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns suffering a massive defeat at Extreme Rules, the two have a singles match to see who the better of the two. Kevin Owens comes to back Seth Rollins, could this be leading to a possible alliance? It would seem that Roman Reigns has either lost his will to fight or has had his pride ripped away as he suffers a loss to Seth Rollins. In the main event of Raw, the WWE All-Star champion Sami Zayn takes on the #1 contender Finn Balor. Sami Zayn dishes out the punishment to Finn Balor, but it's not enough to keep the demon king down. Finn Balor scores a Victory over the champion, and will go onto Payback for a shot at the WWE All-Star Championship. Sami Zayn's first championship reign might be in trouble.
