We finally arrive at the first main cross brand Pay Per View Extreme Rules, live from Los Angles California. Our opening match is a Tag Team elimination match where the Dudley Boys face the New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Late in the match D-Von Dudley is eliminated by Kofi Kingston, leaving Bubba Ray Dudley to face Kofi Kingston and Big E alone. Bubba Ray Dudley successfully eliminates both Tag Team Champions, meaning the Dudley Boys are Raw's new WWE Tag Team Champions. Next Smackdown Live's Women's Champion Becky Lynch defends her championship against the #1 contender and current NXT Women's Champion Alexa Bliss. Alexa's dream of being the first women to hold both the NXT Women's Championship and the Smackdown Women's Championship at the same time are shot down, as a relentless Becky Lynch successfully defends her title in a brutal fashion. Sheamus and Rusiv settle the score to see who will leave Extreme Rules as the United States Champion, in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Almost as soon as the match starts, both opponents end up having a massive slugfest in the crowd. The match explodes when the reach the open area where the floor is unpadded, and after a swift Brogue Kick Sheamus defeats Rusiv becoming the new United States Champion. The Smackdown Tag Team Championships are on the line as the current champions the Vaudevillians defend their Championships against Rhyno and Heath Slater. However the title defense is short lived, as Rhyno hits Adien English with a STO takedown shortly after the bell sounds, than locks in a aggressive submission move forcing Adien English to submit. Heath Slater and Rhyno defeat the Vaudevillians and become the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions all in under a minute. This concludes the first half of Extreme Rules, part 2 is coming up very soon.
