WWE 2K17 Universe Part 15 - ... An All-Star Event
(Don't forget to check out the first half of Extreme Rules) John Cena makes his WWE return at Extreme Rules, by heading to the ring and launching a promo that kinda comes off as a heel promo, could we be looking at a heel Cena? The newly crowned WWE Women's Champion Sasha Banks defends her title for the first time against the powerful Nia Jax. Both women are polar opposites of each other, Jax has the strength and resiliency and Banks has the speed and technical ability meaning this match can go in any direction. Unfortunately due to Sasha locking in the Bank Statement on more than one occasion, the damage has been done as Sasha Banks defeats Nia Jax to retain the WWE Women's Championship. The Smackdown Live main event is underway as Dean Ambrose defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against a very game AJ Styles in a Last Man Standing Match. Without using any foreign objects, both competitors simply beat the hell out of each other. With both men trying to keep the other down for a 10 count, it's AJ Styles who unfortunately cannot make it to his feet. With Dean Ambrose successfully defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, what is next for him? After a month long tournament to decide a new top champion to represent Raw, the two tournament finalist Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins along with a thirsty Roman Reigns, all battle in a triple threat ladder match to become the first ever WWE All-Star Champion. In the final match at Extreme Rules, it's every man for himself. No one walked away from this match at 100% as Seth Rollins took a Blue Thunder Bomb from Sami Zayn, Sami Zayn took a Spear from Roman Reigns and Roman Reigns took a Pedigree from Seth Rollins. All three men have fallen off the ladder at several points, Seth Rollins looked to be the best competitor in the match, Roman Reigns dished out the most damage during the match, but in the end the ultimate underdog Sami Zayn was the one to successfully become the first ever WWE All-Star Champion. With Raw now with it's own top title and champion, who will be the first to challenge the new champion?
