XCOM 2: The Second Encounter - Episode 4
Hello again.
Soundtrack of this episode: War of the Chosen
Today we're going to try to solve a problem, which is called Terror Mission with more enemies. While I might suck a bit (after all, this was recorded back in August), I still remember how I operated there.
And sorry for another delay, Watchers and Commenters. In fact this is the last video of this year because I have an urgent stuff to do - but I hope that you'll have Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas be really awesome and generally pleasant.
Because I sure as hell won't have any Happy Holiday this year at all.

The Ally - Australian Russell TTS (and because they asked nicely: https://readloud.net/english/australian/48-male-voice-russell.html)
The Ally's commander - myself
Outside sources:
Base of the Ally and his commander is basically Prodeus campaign levels - I suggest you check the game itself though, it's quite fun and has a really nice level editor in which even I managed to do something: https://store.steampowered.com/app/964800/Prodeus/
The rest of credits are in the episode's Wrap-Up
Today is the 4th episode in a row, so, as I promised, here you go, an XCOM Dossier.

Name and Surname: Gunter Sieger
Nickname: Energy Curtain
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 2 March, 1989
Country: Germany
Someone has to fill in a role in which other people don’t want to be.
Gunter Sieger, better known in inner circles under his hacker alias “Energy Curtain”, in his childhood was an avid fan of computer games, being interested in how they work. However, his family was poor, and so he couldn’t get the games whenever he wanted, forcing him to overuse what he got his hands on.
During his high school years, a dawn of hugely priced AAA games began to overflow the market. Charging insane amount of money for everything, corporations presented a challenge for the young Gunter. Not willing to pay for products which were tainted by rampant corporatism anymore, he spent his time learning computer systems. And he has become a video game hacker.
Still fueled by his love of gaming, Gunter, along with other German scene hackers, managed to crack lots of games, in the name of greater good. If the project was clearly a product of passion – or an indie game, the hacker decided to leave the game alone. This thing was not understood by his colleagues, but well respected by legit indie developers. Corporations weren’t as amused, however, trying to find Gunter and prosecute him for this thing.
After the fall of the Old World, Gunter continued to hack software whenever he could, but with the world being more and more infested by copyright and advanced security systems, it became much harder to do so.
One day, copyrighters have finally found out about Gunter’s activity – and they were spewing their saliva around to execute the hacker. Having foreseen such occasion, the man was forced to leave his hometown. Only then had he experienced the true damage inflicted by the aliens, outside the city centers. After joining a local Resistance cell as a hacker, Gunter was a really valuable operative. In fact, so valuable that his knowledge had attracted Bradford, when he was mass recruiting people for the cause. Despite not being able to decipher everything now because of highly advanced security protocols by ADVENT AI, Gunter accepted the offer and joined the fight under XCOM banner.
Nevertheless, despite the 20-year alien progress in security, the hacker still got it in himself, because he’s the only one who can challenge Shen in computer knowledge on the entire Avenger. Running from ADVENT copyright fiends and being labelled as XCOM terrorist is the risk Gunter is willing to take – in order to allow poor people to experience what otherwise is way too pricey. And well, taking on the aliens to liberate Earth counts as well!
Gunter loves gaming. Gunter hates aliens and copyrighters.
