"And now for something completely different"...
Well, not really. We continue with the theme of console emulation, but this time it's a game for Nintendo Wii - Xenoblade Chronicles.
Most of us are used to seeing the Wii as a family console, and that's true. But, nevertheless, there are a couple "hardcore" JPRGs that were made especially for Wii, like this one or The Last Story.
I used the latest version of the Dolphin emulator using the Vulkan backend, and the performance is great.
I still haven't been able to make the original Wii Remote work, although I know that it can, so I used my Steam controller mapped to emulate Wii Remote + Nunchuck. Works like a charm.

My specs are:

Distro: Ubuntu 19.04
Dolphin: 5.0-9413
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
GPU Driver: NVIDIA 430.40
RAM: 16 GB
