To unlock The Lone Wolf achievement, you must survive a standard 20 minute run using ONLY the team leader you picked. You cannot recruit another squad member after rescuing them from an SOS call or you will negate the achievement, and have to try again.

To make this MUCH easier, obviously the best tip is to just keep playing and spend points on the skill tree. I am not close to being maxed yet, but this wasn't too difficult to do. But there are a few other things to remember when attempting this that will make sure you survive.

1. Using a character that you have unlocked abilities for by getting certain amounts of kills will REALLY help. They get upgraded guns and new skills after you have used them as the squad leader and keep killing enemies. The number still needed is shown on the character selection screen when you highlight them. This will help get much further than using a character that you haven't really used yet. I only picked Tank because I still need a couple thousand kills to get his next ability unlocked, but his minigun didn't turn out too bad.

2. Make sure to work on skills (in the skill tree as well as in-game during your run) that focus on things like movement speed, armor and healing. Towards the end, the enemies get really tough when you are by yourself, and it will be better to run than fight. Also, getting xp boosting passives will be helpful for the keeping yourself healthy from leveling up.

3. Even though you CANNOT recruit another squad member, still do the SOS calls. Choose to LIBERATE them, and you will get $800 as well as a level up! This is crucial. Just be very careful to not accidentally choose a squad member. Make sure you have the Liberate option highlighted before pressing anything.

4. Once you have fully upgraded your weapon(s) and abilities, every level up will become a choice of healing or money. Keep yourself healthy by continuing to try and earn level ups. This is why I mentioned xp boosting items in tip 2.

5. Get EVERY yellow supply box you can! These passive abilities are a huge factor on a successful run, or a run that ends from you dying. These can be weapon damage, movement speed, xp gains etc. Grab them if it is safe!

6. If the enemies start getting too tough, just run! Kite them around the outside edge of the playable area. This is why I really recommend having some movement speed boosting passives. Your speed will determine if you live or die in the last few minutes!
