To get the Gilded Handle achievement and Artifact, you need to stand still without moving for a total of 100 seconds (1 minute and 40 seconds). The Gilded Handle description states that "You are no longer in control", and when you equip it, you are unable to control your Goobie! It will move on it's own, but this also gives you a score bonus of x0.2.

Obviously, you are going to want to start off strong, so take some time to do some runs and unlock some permanent upgrades. I would suggest getting things like attack speed and damage, as well as at least one extra shot (first upgrade is 800, so that can take a bit). The Bloodbath Artifact can also really help, as it makes only blobs spawn.

After setting up and choosing your Goobie, hop into a run and right after you spawn, just stand still and hope that RNG is on your side when you level up. Since you can't move to get XP, having any kind of bullet distance upgrades can be good or bad. The good is that you can kill enemies from far away, however, the bad is that this puts XP out of your range. Most of your XP pick-ups are going to be from enemies that get close to you and actually hit you, but don't panic! Just hope you get lucky RNG for the abilities you can choose from.

As for abilities, I would suggest anything that has a chance to trigger an AOE attack, or something like bullet speed or damage. Piercing is good as well, as that basically doubles your chances of triggering effects, as well as killing enemies behind the front line. As the number of enemies grows, it gets harder to not get overrun, so you need to keep your damage output up, as well as your crowd control.

Since the achievement doesn't pop up until you actually finish the run (you don't get it as soon as the 100 seconds is up), Just make sure to sit around for a bit longer to make sure the correct amount of time has passed. When you feel confident it has, feel free to end the run. You will get taken to the game over stats screen, and the Artifact and achievement will pop up for you!
