In order to get both the Sign of Time achievement and Artifact, you must kill 150 enemies within the first 60 seconds of starting a run. When equipped, the Artifact gives you a x0.15 score bonus, but at the cost that the game speed is twice as fast! This is actually not bad, since EVERYTHING is doubled, even you and your attacks! This is a very helpful Artifact, as it saves time on each run.

While this isn't too hard, there are a few things you can do to make this much easier. Obviously, the best advice is to just keep playing and unlocking permanent upgrades. Things like attack speed, attack damage and extra bullets per shot will definitely help.

Aside from permanent upgrades, another thing that will REALLY help make this easy is the Mutated Gene Artifact. To earn this, you must kill a total of 25,000 enemies in one run. Once equipped, the Artifact will make enemies spawn twice as fast! This will pretty much guarantee that you unlock the Sign of Time achievement and Artifact.

Once you are ready to try for the achievement and Artifact, jump into a game with whatever character you want. Go on the offensive and get in the enemies faces, making sure to get as much XP as fast as possible. When upgrading, try to go for things that cause AOE attacks, or things like chain lighting that can hit multiple enemies.

Just keep at it, and after a minute, make sure you have killed at least 150 enemies. If you have, you can end the run, and you will get the Sign of Time achievement and Artifact!
