Zeliard - the fastest way to level up
https://www.patreon.com/ulillillia --- As a child, I used to go all the way to just before the boss room and use that last room for leveling up at, going until I had about 50K almas. I've often seen remarks about repeatedly defeating Alguien since that beast is a half of a level up right there alone. Neither method is very effective. This method gets level ups in barely 7 minutes and that's including the time to buy more magia stones, exchange almas, and repair the shield on every other level up. All that's needed is roughly 236 enemies. I just use 25,000 almas as it's a lot easier to use. Going with 24K just saves a few seconds.
The basic routine is this:
1. Leave town and head to the left, going up the rope.
2. While doing step 1, jump and aim the sword down while falling without swinging it. This will guarantee every enemy drops the highest value possible alma.
3. Just before getting on the rope on the other side, fire off a guerra. This will take care of the centipede on the odd left ledge.
4. Climb up the rope to that area just above with the pair of slime guns on it and floating gelroid blob near it.
5. Go as far right as possible, onto the odd raised part and fire off another guerra. This will take care of the first of the very dangerous jellyfish.
6. Go down the rope on the left then on the right and fall on the left side of it.
7. I didn't think about it at the time, but if you fire off a guerra just as you drop below the ledge with the centipede, you should take care of the last of the very dangerous jellyfish.
8. Set the speed to 9 and keep following this route I use. To get across that gap, I time the jump based on the platform. If I happen to line up with the rope straight above, I go up it and only get the 2 slime guns up there without going over the edge to the right.
9. When I've got about 12K to 14K almas, I use another magia stone. One alone won't last until 24K.
10. When at 24K almas, return to town.
11. Just speak with the sage and request to see power, to level up. Save if you want, but don't do anything else.
12. Repeat steps 1 to 10 above, using the second magia stone when you have 36K to 38K almas and returning to town at 48K almas.
13. This time, buy 4 magia stones, skip the sage, exchange the almas for gold, repair the shield, then speak with the sage for the level up and to save.
14. Repeat steps 1 to 13 roughly 120 more times to max out, depending on how many level ups you got beforehand, before starting this.
Note: it's best to have the enchantment sword and feruza shoes. Until a certain point, like level 20 or something, the blue gelroid blob will take 2 hits with the magia stone. Until you can defeat it with just one via the magia stone, leave it out of the process. To eliminate it, just lure it over to the left side then defeat it with either the magia stone or a guerra and don't collect the alma it drops. That's only until about level 30 or something, roughly when you have about 30 guerra spells. Always leave the jellyfish out. You can only damage them via their heads and they do 80 damage. Miss the head and chances are, you'll suffer 240+ damage from that first one (in step 5) if you're not pointed in the right direction. Plus, that gelroid blob will block the jellyfish from moving further, and it's random how it'll get blocked. This can cause further trouble so it's just best overall to get rid of the jellyfish entirely.
To get a better sense on this process, I included a half-speed variant for the second part of the video so you can see the fast action more closely. (Plus, Sluminda, the name I've given to level 8's music, sounds so much better, best from 40 to 70% true speed!) There are 4 full level ups' worth, obtained in 28 1/4 minutes for the full pair of cycles. One cycle is 2 level ups. The slow motion part is nothing more than a direct repeat of the second cycle.
