I debated whether or not to even include this on the album because this score isn’t based off of any official version of I’m Here, it’s more based on a score by Musescore user LightningMusician (https://musescore.com/user/70443511). If there was a score directly based off of the official orchestral version, I would have used that, but I couldn’t find one. I still made the decision to use this score for reference, as long as I make an effort to add my own touch to it. From the beginning I knew I wanted this to be purely orchestral, with only classical instruments. I had to keep in mind that the pacing needed to be deliberate, adding parts gradually until the end when everything is playing at once. Musically, the song goes back and forth between F minor and G lydian, an interesting combination. I’m not as thrilled with the final product as I was expecting to be, but I’m still proud of what I could make.
