I am doing a relatively casual playthrough of Pokemon Radical Red only using Bug types that have a BST (Base Stat Total) of 400 or less.

This fight took me to use actual logic and think of legitimate sets for this fight... ok maybe not actual sets. But I did have to actually change the Natures of my bugs.

Glimmet:
Glimmet is the easiest Pokemon. You just need to take it out quickly before it can get an Ancient Power Boost. Pivot to Beedrill after some time to clear the Toxic Spikes.

Mightyena:
Mightyena with Strong Jaw is unsurprisingly the toughest opponent (so far). All 3 moves have actual OHKO potential. You need a Pokemon with a high enough defense stat to tank a hit and if you can lower his speed, you can ruin his momentum. His Berry Juice will heal him up, but it's not that bad.

Houndour:
This one was a joke. I used Joltik's Struggle Bug to neuter this thing's Sp. Atk since it has nothing but that to use.

My rules are simple:
MGM Mode
Base Radical Red Difficulty
Bug Type Pokemon Only
All Bug Type Pokemon must have a base stat total equal to or less than 400.
