There was previously an issue with the 3DO core, 4DO, where you could see clear video tearing going on.

In this video, you see us testing three games: Gex, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and Need For Speed. All three of these games would previously exhibit severe signs of video tearing. As you can see in the video, this no longer happens.

However, the fix that a contributor sent is not a perfect magic bullet yet. There are still games like Wolfenstein 3D which can still show video tearing.
