Beetle PSX - CPU Overclocking - 60fps - Ghost In The Shell
Ghost In The Shell was made by then-Japanese game developers Exact, later known as Sugar & Rockets, later incorporated as part of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan. It was released in 1997. They were previously known for their Jumping Flash games and you can see some of that heritage shine through in this highly unusual and original take on the Ghost In The Shell franchise.
The game has an unlocked framerate that jumps back and forth from the 40s to the mid 30s to the low 20s.
By setting CPU overclocking to 200%, we can now force the game to run at a locked 60fps, and it makes a huge difference to the game.
NOTE: Any audio crackles you hear are the result of the additional overhead as a result of having to record ths video while running this already demanding game with the CPU overclocking applied
