5 New Things in Minecraft 1.18 (Caves & Cliffs Update!)
Minecraft 1.18 Caves & Cliffs just came out, so here are 5 new things that were added to Minecraft in this new update!
Being part two of this updates, most of the additions involve world generation, so first on our list is that worlds now have negative coordinates stretching down to negative 64. This means there are now 64 additional blocks under bedrock on older worlds.
As far as ores go, they can now form in long and rare veins making mining more exciting. Be sure to follow those ores while strip mining!
For number three, we have Caves. Caves have been completely overhauled and will have different stone bases depending on their depth. There are also two cave biomes - Lush Caves and Dripstone Caves.
Mountains haven’t been forgotten though. They also have six new biomes for you to enjoy and explore from meadows to jagged peaks.
Lastly, some biomes have been renamed. Now for example, Jungle Edge biomes will be known as Sparse Jungle Biomes. Something we won’t normally notice, but still a cool change!
So there are 5 things that have changed in Minecraft 1.18 Caves and Cliffs! If you enjoyed this short, be sure to like it and subscribe for more Minecraft content!
