About this video: This video will show you how to download mods for Minecraft 1.18 on PC. Specifically, we show you how to install Minecraft mods for 1.18 Forge as this video does only work for Forge mods. Why would you want Minecraft 1.18 mods? Luckily, because the are all Forge mods, the install in the exact same so way. So here is how to download and install Minecraft mods in 1.18 on PC!
First things first, we do assume that you already have the Forge Mod Loader installed. This is required in order to download Minecraft mods in 1.18. The good news is that we have an in-depth tutorial on how to download, install, and play Minecraft 1.18 with Forge. Our Forge tutorials have helped millions, and they should help you as well.
With that installed, we can start focusing on how to download mods for Minecraft 1.18. There are thousands of Minecraft 1.18 mods out there. However, in this video, we are going to be install MrCrayFish’s Furniture Mod, Spark, and the Gravestone Mod. You can find a link to dedicated tutorials for all of these mods in the description above. When you are there, click the yellow download button to be take the mod’s official download page on CurseForge. 95% of Minecraft PC mods are hosted on CurseForge. When you are there, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.18’ section. Under that, there will be the 1.18 version of the mod you want. Click the orange download button to the right of this mod to start downloading it. You may need to keep or save the mod depending on your browser. Repeat this process for any other Minecraft mods you may want for 1.18.
We can now teach you how to install mods on Minecraft PC 1.18! This is the part you have all been waiting for. First things first, open up the Minecraft Launcher, select your Forge profile, and click ‘Play’. Minecraft with Forge will open up. From the main menu, click the ‘mods’ button. Then click ‘Open Mods Folder’ in the bottom left. Your mods folder will open. To install Minecraft mods in 1.18, just drag-and-drop the mods you downloaded into this folder. It’s that simple.
You aren’t completely finished though! You still need to close out of Minecraft 1.18 and make sure you reopen it with the Forge installation.
