About this video: This video is our complete in-depth guide on how to get XRay in Minecraft 1.18. Specifically, we show you how to download the XRay Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.18, so you can easily start finding ores and all of the other awesome things Minecraft 1.18 has to offer underground. One thing we do want to mention though. This is not meant to be used in multiplayer servers and 95% of multiplayer servers will have this XRay blocked for Minecraft 1.18 as it is very easy to do so. This version of XRay 1.18 is meant for single player only. With that said though, here is how to add XRay 1.18 to Minecraft!
First things first, we need to download the Minecraft XRay 1.18 texture pack. You can find a link above to download XRay. When you click that, it will actually take you to our text tutorial for getting 1.18 XRay. The specific texture pack we are installing is called XRay Ultimate. This XRay resource pack is always very up-to-date and usually has updated to the newest version of Minecraft the day it is released. Once you are on our website though, click the yellow ‘Download XRay Ultimate’ button to be take to the official download page.
On the XRay Ultimate download page, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the download for Minecraft 1.18. Click the orange download button to the right of this version. The download will then begin. You may have to keep or save the XRay 1.18 texture pack depending on your browser.
At this point, you need to open up Minecraft 1.18. Then, from the main menu, click on ‘Options’. You will then see a Resource Packs button. Select that, and there will be an ‘Open Resource Packs Folder’ button in the bottom left of Minecraft. Click this button, and your resource packs folder will open. Now, to install the XRay Texture Pack in Minecraft 1.18, drag-and-drop the 1.18 XRay file you downloaded into this folder. It’s that easy.
When you come back to Minecraft, the XRay 1.18 texture pack will be in the Available Packs section. Hover over it, and click the arrow that appears. This will move it to the ‘Selected Packs’ section on the right. Click done at the bottom of the page, and XRay will be installed in Minecraft 1.18! You can now go in game and have some fun. Optifine is recommended for the best experience, and you can find our tutorial for installing it in the description above!
