#675 Tekken 2 (ARC) Bosses (15/15): Kunimitsu playthrough.
0A playthrough of the potential sub-boss Kunimitsu in the arcade version of Namco's Tekken 2.
The last boss to cover (fuck that took a while), and it's another generally good improvement. Kunimitsu no longer looks like an abomination and now even has a female voice. She now has a new (I think it's a kitsune?) mask instead of that weird one from Tekken 1, and the rest of her design is generally just redesigned from the first game. We haven't seen the end of her Tekken 1 design, however...
In terms of gameplay, from what I could tell she is more or less still just a model-swap of Yoshimitsu, as you would probably expect. Like most of the model swaps, she has a few unique unblockable attacks, including a couple with her kunai. All in all, I can see why Namco neglected her as a character after this game, she's a bit on the dull side and they obviously just weren't too sure what to do with her. However, she will get considerably more interesting when we see her in Tag 1 and Tag 2, but as always we'll get to that when we get to it.
That finally ends the bosses for Tekken 2, but we're not done with Tekken 2 yet. Three more videos until we finally finish off this game.
