8 WAYS REJECTION SENSITIVITY AND DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY COULD BE HOLDING YOU BACK
Rejection sensitivity (or rejection sensitivity dysphoria) can be the result of many things such as:
-dysfunctional family
-a poor self-esteem,
- negative self-talk,
- family trauma,
-toxic family dynamics,
-how you were parented over the years,
-how your parents spoke to you and disciplined you, and
-the mental health or behavioral disorder (s) that you may have been diagnosed with.
Most people believe that Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria is ONLY for people who have ADHD.
The reality is that rejection sensitivity can stem from years of toxic family dynamics, dysfunctional family behaviors, unresolved family trauma, and a poor self-concept.
It is also very neurologically-based and has a lot to do with how your brain operates and has learned to operate under pressure.
In this live chat, I discuss the dynamic of feeling and being rejected and offer a new way of perceiving this dynamic.
