Thus, without any more delay, here is our complete admin guide to ShopGUI+
The first step of getting #ShopGUIPlus is actually downloading it. You can find the official ShopGUI+ download link in the description above. When you click that link, it will take you to the official ShopGUI+ #Plugin page/download page. When you are here, you can checkout all of the awesome ShopGUI+ features. Now, you will need to login to a SpigotMC account in order to see ShopGUI+. This is because it is a paid plugin. You will have to buy ShopGUI+ in order to download it as it is a paid plugin. After purchasing ShopGUIPlus, you’ll see a blue ‘Download Now’ button. Click that, and ShopGUIPlus will begin downloading.
In order to install ShopGUIPlus, you will need a Bukkit, Spigot, or Paper server. When you have one of these servers, installing ShopGUI+ is easy. Just drag-and-drop the ShopGUIPlus file you downloaded into your server’s ‘plugins’ folder. Then, restart the server. Just like that, you will see a ShopGUIPlus folder appear, and in it, you will see all of the ShopGUIPlus config files. Now, it is time to get into the Admin Guide portion of our ShopGUIPlus tutorial.
There are two .yml files you will be focusing on the most. That is the config.yml and the shops.yml. In the config.yml, you will find the general configuration settings for ShopGUI+. Here, you can add shopws to the main GUI, change the look of all your GUIs, and change how buying and selling works in game. This config is eally well documented, and overall, much won’t need to be changed here.
As far as the shops.yml goes, this is where you will find all of the shops you have on your server. You will be able to set buy, price, sell price, quantity, etc. all from here. You can also add as many shops or items that you want. The default shops.yml setup is pretty good for ShopGUI+, but we recommend configuring it for your own server and your own server’s economy for the best result. It is a super easy to understand setup.
After your shops.yml file and config.yml file are setup for ShopGUIPlus, we can jump in game. You can open up your shop GUI with the /shop command. You can left-click to purchase things from the GUI, and right-click on items to sell them to the GUI. You can also sell items to the shop with the /sell hand, /sell hand all, and /sell all commands. This is usually what players will use as selling things is easy with commands, but buying them is easier with a GUI. You can find a complete list of the ShopGUIPlus commands in the description above.
