About this video: In this video, we go over every single step of making a MC Eternal server. From where to download the MC Eternal server files from to how you can setup all of the MC Eternal file and make them work on a Minecraft server, it is all covered in this video. We even troubleshoot some of the potential issues you may have when making a modded MC Eternal server. Thus, without any more delay, here is how you can make a MC Eternal server!
The first step of getting an MC Eternal server setup is actually downloading and installing the MC Eternal modpack. We have an in-depth video linked in the description above that will show you every single step of adding the MC Eternal modpack to Minecraft. You must do this in order to play on you MC Eternal server. You cannot play on an MC Eternal server without installing the modpack with the Twitch app.
After you MC Eternal installed, we can create your server. In order to do this, you will need to download the MC Eternal server files. You can find a link to the official #MCEternalServer files download page in the description above. Once you are there, look on the right-hand side of the page, and scroll down until you see ‘Minecraft 1.12 Server Packs’. Under that, you will see a file with a purple download button next to it. Click the download button, and your files will start downloading after 6 seconds.
Once your files are downloaded, right-click them, click extract, and click okay. That will make a folder on your desktop. Open that folder until you find a ‘LaunchServer.bat’ file. Double click this file, and your server will start, but eventually fail. However, you will now have an ‘eula.txt’ file. Open that file, and change ‘eula=false’ to ‘eula=true’. Save the text file and double click the ‘LaunchServer.bat’ file. Your server will now launch.
At this point, you just need to port forward the port 25565 on the TCP and UDP protocol in order for your friends to join your Minecraft server. It will walk you through everything in depth to make sure you can port forward without any issues whats ever.
After you have port forwarded, you can join your MC Eternal server. Just open up MC Eternal via the Twitch app. Click on multiplayer once it is open, and type in your public IP address. This will put you right into your MC Eternal server!
