About this video: If you want to know how to download and install PlugMan on your Minecraft server, this is the video for you! We show you how to do everything with PlugMan including how you can find what commands go to what plugins on your server, how to disable and enable plugins while your server is running, and how to update plugins while your server is still running. PlugMan is one of the coolest admin plugins Minecraft has seen in a long time, and in this video, we give you a complete guide to how to use PlugMan in Minecraft.
The first step of getting PlugMan is downloading it. You can find the PlugMan download link in the description above. Once you are there, you can download PlugMan. To install it, just drop it into the plugins folder on your Paper server. You don’t have to have a PaperMC server for PlugMan to work, but it is highly recommended.
Once you have PlugMan installed, we can look at the config file. PlugMan has a barebones config. You’ve got one option: What plugins do you not want PlugMan to do anything with. Other than that, there is nothing we can do here, so let’s move in game!
Once you are in game, you can use the /plugman help command which will allow you to see all of the other commands that PlugMan has to offer. To see the plugins on your server do /plugman list, and more importantly, if you want to see the versions those plugins are running, do /plugin list -v. If you want to know info about one specific plugin do /plugin info (plugin).
Another cool feature of PlugMan is the /plugman usage (plugin) command. This lists all of the commands a plugin has registered, so if you can’t figure out a command for a plugin, this will help you do just that! On the flip side of that, you can do /plugman lookup (command) to figure out which plugin a command is registered to.
Now, let’s move on to one of the coolest features of PlugMan - the ability to enable, disable, and restart plugins while a server is running. The command /plugman disable (plugin) will stop a plugin from working on the server. /plugman enable (plugin) will enable a plugin on the server that you have disabled. /plugman restart (plugin) disables and enables a plugin. Sometimes this will refresh a plugin. Other times, you make need to use. /plugman reload (plugin) reloads a plugin which is different from restarting. You can unload and reload plugins manually using the /plugman load (plugin) and /plugman unload (plugin) commands. Lastly, if you want to see if a plugin is up-to-date on your server, do /plugman check (plugin)
That is all of the commands that PlugMan has to offer. You can see the full list for yourself at the download link in the description above.
And there you have it! That is our complete Admin Guide to PlugMan. If you have any questions about the PlugMan plugin and how to use it, let us know in the comment section below, and if we did help you setup PlugMan on your Minecraft server, be sure to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already.
