I originally wasn't planning on doing a game challenge for Alpha Squad, but I decided to do it because there seem to be very few videos of this game and no full playthroughs of the game.

This video is has 2 parts to it:

Part 1 from the beginning to 5:01:21 is the game challenge section where I do a single playthrough of Alpha Squad with no dying allowed with the goal of beating the final boss and get what I consider to be the best ending of the game. However, please note that the ending I wanted to get doesn't show after beating the final boss (another ending plays). From what I can tell, you can only see the best ending if you go into the ending building in New Seattle.

I originally wanted this to be a no saving playthrough too, but the game tends to crash a lot at very random times, so I had no choice but to save very frequently so I wouldn't lose my progress when it crashed.

Usually, I get about 2-3 crashes for every long session of playing this game, but this playthrough crashed 8 times. =(

It gave an error and booted me back to the title screen 4 times, I got the code 4 error, which booted me out of the entire game 2 times. The game froze 2 times, which was the worst one because it forced me to turn off the 360 system and restart it. This is all shown in this video since it is a single recording from start to finish. Apologies for all the interruptions it caused to the playthrough.

Please note that the game crashing does not count as a death. I define death as my character being killed in the game by an enemy.

Unfortunately, I do not know of any way to prevent these crashes. No matter how many times I try, the game will crash at some point.

Please note that I had to spend over an hour to grind money from 3:25:07 to 4:43:00

It's very repetitive and boring to watch, but I had to grind to at least over $200,000 in order to have enough money to handle the remaining 2 stages. I need to be ready to spend at least $100,000 on Neo Tokyo because that stage is just brutal hard and the easiest stage to die really fast. You have a lot of enemies with powerful guns, and they all have very good shooting accuracy. Without a blade shield active, you'll die in seconds. And, the developers knew how brutal this stage is by how every enemy you take down in Neo Tokyo drops a health pack. I don't need a lot of money for the final boss, but I do need to have at least $100,000 to get the best ending.

It's very easy to die in this game, but this game is still nowhere even close to as hard as Smash TV. In this game, you can buy weapons, shield, and healing items anytime as long as you have the money to buy it. You can't do that in Smash TV, and the enemies just seem endless in that game while also being a 1 hit = death game.

Part 2 from 5:01:22 to the end of the video is a bonus section where I show all 7 endings of Alpha Squad.

Since there are no full playthroughs of this game on youtube, I might as well show all the endings. The artwork is amazing. =) I will be showing the same 2 endings I already showed in the challenge run section again. Please note that since this is a single recording with no editing, I have to load the save file and go through New Seattle in order to get to the ending room each time to show each ending.

I unlocked all the endings while I do this single playthrough. You'll notice a red door in certain areas. If you enter that red door, it will play that particular ending. But, you can also view the endings in the ending building in New Seattle.

In the past, there have been talks of a possible 8th ending, but no one seems to know how to get the 8th ending or if it even exists.

If you're wondering why I keep entering and exiting a stage, it's because I'm trying to to get a certain weapon and/or item in the shop. The shop only has 9 things available at a time, and it's random what 9 things are available. The shop only changes weapons/items every time you exit a stage.

Note: In the thumbnail, the 2 females on the left (the one dressed in white and blue and the one sitting on the couch) look different than the illustrations you see in the game. You won't see that in the game because I edited the thumbnail picture so it would combine the 2 illustration versions into one. I was just curious what it would look like, so I made it like that. It looks really good imo. Wish they went with that illustration in the actual game.

A big thanks and shout-out to ThePyreThatBurns, who is the person who put the most effort into finding as much information as possible in Alpha Squad. He is also the one who made the FAQ guide in gamefaqs. I haven't played Alpha Squad in a very long time, so I forgot all the secrets and how to get the endings, but his faq guide helped me remember everything.

This was played on the Xbox 360 console.
