In this demonstration, I'll discuss one approach to composing a melody using SuperCollider and a Logic Pro instrument. The \midinote key code for composing melody and harmony was kindly provided to me by Eli Fieldsteel.

While this video involves a MIDI instrument, the same method can be applied to sound files, where the pitch of the file is changed based on rate and the ".midinote" method for transposition. I will have a video on this specific approach in the near future.
