Comb Filter For Sound Files (CombL)
soundengraver.com
In this demonstration, SuperCollider runs sound files through a linearly interpolated comb filter effect, known as CombL. Once this synth is evaluated, you can tweak these values in real time inside Pbindef, thus changing the nature of the effect.
A word of caution:
The comb filter is a delicate effect, highly sensitive to the values put in. Use headphones with the speaker volume low. If you do not know what the result is going to be, please take off your headphones and turn the volume all the way down. Refer to the level meter by evaluating the following syntax: s.meter;
Any hazardous sound will be reflected as red. Stay safe!
Sound files are pulled from a class called Dictionary.
