Black Mesa - How To Unlock The Prophylactic Suggested Achievement!
0In order to unlock the Prophylactic Suggested achievement, you must die to a Headcrab in its basic form (not a Headcrab Zombie). While this can be done anywhere that there is a basic Headcrab, you can easily get this at the start of Chapter 3, Unforeseen Consequences.
Towards the start of Chapter 3, you will talk to two Scientists. One will tell you that you need to reach the surface. After the conversation, a door will open just past them. Inside this room, a Scientist will be screaming for help while banging on the door to try and get out. A few beams of energy will shoot across the room, and one will eventually kill the Scientist, blowing open the door in the process. NOTE: To make this next part much faster, allow yourself to take damage from the beams!
After the door has been blown open, go through it and follow the path. You will see a burning Headcrab Zombie up ahead. Turn left past it, and then right. A Headcrab will spawn in front of you, and you are suppose to run from it. instead, allow the Headcrab to kill you, and the achievement will unlock!
