The goblins have arrived to invade the kingdom. Defend the lands with the help of this strong archerknown as Bobby Da Arrow! The mission is to eliminate all the goblins attacking in each level. Aim your bow carefully and make sure the trajectory lands on the enemies. There's a timer too that will initiate the enemy's movement. If you slow down, they will reach and attack you. You also need to rescue the people held as prisoners by the goblins. If you managed to rescue the prisoners before taking out the goblins and slimes, you will receive a perfect 3 star rating.

Overview:

The title may make you think like you’re playing a modern game due to the name Bobby. It isn’t because this game takes place during the middle ages where magic, goblins, knights and archers existed. Bobby Da Arrow has you play the role of Bobby who is seemingly the kingdom’s best archer. His job is to get rid of the invading hordes of goblins threatening their very way of life. Bobby must protect the King Azriel and all of the inhabitants of the kingdom using nothing but his bow and arrows.

Aesthetics:

Bobby Da Arrow has some cute animation and art designs. It’s not the most advanced but they are pleasing to look at. The goblins do look a bit like rhino people though, but they’re your enemies so it’s down to them. The music has that middle age vibe to it harkening some of those classical tunes. The tune does repeat all over the stages which is kind of a letdown. One other good thing about the aesthetics is that there are cinematics and voice overs. The cinematics only occur during the beginning of the game which is good in a way. The voice over is also nicely done. The voices were clear and the game interacted with you. You could hear your character talking while firing and the enemies are trash talking you which are all good.

Gameplay:

The game mechanics are really easy once you get the hang of it. Your main objective is to defeat all enemies in the stage. The setback is that you need to defeat all of them without consuming all your arrows since you will have a limited supply. You also need to survive each stage as you will die if you get damaged a lot. There are optional quests like saving the people but even if you don’t do it, you will still clear the stage once all enemies are defeated. Your character Bobby is stationary which means he can’t move from his spot. You will just need to calculate the trajectory of the arrow and where it would hit. It’s not so hard since you will see the arc of where the angle of the arrow will land. The number of enemies and obstacles will vary for each stage but they are usually the same kind of enemies. These enemies range from regular slimes, goblins, archer goblins and goblin mages. You just need to figure out on how to beat them with the most minimal effort possible to get three stars. The lowest star you can get is a 1 star but you can always retry the stage until you get the three stars. Sadly there are no upgrades in the game which is a low point in it. You’ll only be able to unlock 2 more kinds of arrows being burning and poison. The game itself is good but if you’re really that good, you’ll just breeze right pass through it in the easiest way possible all the time.
