The low level challenge in Breath of Fire (GBA) version is finally complete!

The original aim was to do it without using dragons, because all dragon shrine battles can be skipped to gain less experience, and without using fusion forms.

However, when I got to the end of the game, it was clear that I wanted to get the good ending and face the hardest boss, so I needed all dragon transformations and Agni. But this was the only time I had Ryu transform.

As for the fusions, I thought they'd screw up experience distribution but around midgame I understood that the party (both active and passive) share one sum of experience, meaning that using Karn fusions wouldn't give us more experience than we would gain otherwise. But knowing how much HP fusion forms have, I decided to beat the game without those, too. I was successful.

All things in the previous description apply to this part as well, but I need to address some points I didn't discuss because of the text limits.

First of all, how we choose to attack.

In the previous videos, critical attacks (slammed) using Mrbl1 items was the best way of dealing damage. Ox, equipped with Mallet and the best offensive equipment set-up, was the best raw damage dealer by the time loli Nina turned old.

In the final battle, Ox isn't quite as useful because Tyr's defences are impossible to crack. He normally does 600-999 damage but can barely do over 300 damage here. Not only that, but we want him to stand in the back row so that he dies less.

Other attackers are even worse. Though Ryu gets his best weapon, EmporSD / Emperor Sword, he is actually far inferior to Ox at attacking.

But we got a Star Hammer / StarHR after disposing of Jade, the game's main villain, and using this item triggers the Comet spell. This does 400 damage to the boss and is out primary means of dealing damage.

When four people are alive, we have Ryu and Ox attack, Bo heal with Meat (Meat restores the exact amount of health the boss's Comet spell does to us) and Nina support the party.

When three are alive, one uses the Star Hammer, and the other two revive the fourth and heal with Meat. The slower character should be the one using Meat so that Comet doesn't kill anyone next turn (71 HP is enough to survive a Comet spell and Nina/Bo never need to be at max HP as long as they have 71).

When two people are alive, we're in trouble. The boss's next attack may leave one character solo and that's too likely. Both characters should use a Life2 item to revive an ally and return them to full health, restoring AP to full as well.

We have a very limited supply of Life2 items and if watched the first video you know that I ran out of most of them very soon.

In this video, we get more lucky than we were in the first. This is the ten minutes where the boss gets beaten the most.

By next video, he doesn't have that much HP left but it's also when the real fun starts.
