Just noticed this is my 300th video.

LOL = Leblanc, Ormi & Logos

As you can see from the time shown in the menu when I show off my equipment, there has been quite a long, tedious period of time during which no interesting battle happened and a lot of farming and sidequesting was done.

I wanted not to miss out on anything from Chapter 2 before proceeding with the storyline so I took my time. Got 2 million Gil out of O'aka since he leaves to Macalania Lake next chapter, and mastered a whole lot of skills in various dresspheres. At this point, all three girls have learnt 4 Gun Mage / Blue Mage Bullet / Enemy skill / whatever abilities, which is the maximum possible at this point in the game: Absorb, Blaster, Mighty Guard and White Wind. I also got around 25 Mega-Phoenix items just because they are so easy to farm in Chapter 2 and not so easy to acquire later in the game when enemies become tougher.

We've faced Leblanc, Ormi and Logos many times, especially in Chapter 2, but hardly any of these battles are worth showing. The last fight against them is normally hard even in a normal game, but we have an advantage here...

Minerva's Plate, required to stay at a low level for the whole challenge, results in impressive magic damage when paired up with Soul of Thamasa, and the wait time is almost non-existent. In this video you can see how I cast my spells almost immediately after selecting them.

Unless Leblanc gets to cast Mighty Guard, an -aga spell coming from Paine will knock out any of the three enemies in one hit. Which is just the thing we need, seeing how the enemies are already threatening enough offensively at this point in the game, fractional attacks being the only weak ones (like Ormi's Supercollider which tears off 50% of current HP). So Paine is given the GG that gives her First Strike. This way she can kill two out of three enemies before they even get to act.

Before that though, it's a good idea to have Rikku steal everyone's items though. Leblanc always gives an Elixir, and that's Ormi and Logos's rare steal too. I found it a better idea to grab a Mega-Potion from Logos though, which is his normal steal, as I feel there will be more instances in the future when I'll need to recover the whole party's HP quickly from the item command (which a mastered Alchemist job allows to be executed very quickly) than when I'll need an Elixir.

Yuna is Alchemist just in case somebody gets hurt, and since she gets hurt herself we don't really need her. I had to revive her for Stash Ethers (that don't waste our Ether stock) though, as Master Thief wouldn't connect and Paine needed enough MP to cast that finishing Firaga.

The rest is usual stuff, closing the menu in Wait mode when it's tactically beneficial and so on.

The boss is supposed to be hard, but being able to eliminate most of them so quickly simplifies the difficulty greatly. The challenge will keep getting harder as we progress, seeing how bosses will be getting gradually more and more healthy.

I'm having troubles recording anything right now and I'm surprised I managed to produce this video. If everything goes right though, expect this to be the next challenge I'll concentrate on, and if you don't like it... refer to the end of the video.
