The semi-stupid line three balls of the same colour spin off to Bubble Bobble. It features Taito's mascot dinosaur chums: Bub and Bob and unsurprisingly goes by the name of Puzzle Bobble in Japan likewise.

I have happy memories of Bust-A-Move but to this day I can't help but feel that there is no strategy behind playing it. The process of getting the right amalgamation of colours and actually hitting your targets makes playing Bust-A-Move 2 a spot of blind luck. And if it wouldn't of been for the broken physics engine either that probably would of been less of the case.

The Nintendo 64 version of this arcade classic anyway holds up aesthetically but the sound suffers - obviously because the sound couldn't be reproduced via redbook audio like on Sony Playstation or Sega Saturn. Although, it has arguably sharper controls thanks to the analogue stick and D-pad combination yet it plays largely the same otherwise. It ofcourse lacks loadtimes finally.

One thing I must note about Bust-A-Move 2 is that it absolutely hates USB capture cards and as a result you may notice some frames skipped during the video. I apolgise for this but quite frankly if you can do better then have a knack at it yourself. That goes for actually playing the game better than me too.
