Here we have performed a frame rate test on the Xbox One version of the Black Ops 3 beta. The performance profile is similar to the Playstation 4 version. The game runs at a solid 60fps and occasionally drops frames, but we see less dropped frames on the Xbox One version than on the PS4. As with the PS4 version, there are occasionally frame time spikes, but they aren't quite as bad as the PS4 version topping out at 50ms. However, the variance between versions could be within the margin of error considering how rare these frame time spikes are. Also in line with the PS4 version is how the Xbox One version tears, that is to say that tearing happens rarely and is kept to the top of the frame. However, the Xbox One version seems to tear less than the Playstation 4 version.
The judder issues present in the Playstation 4 version are also present in the Xbox One version.
The Xbox One version's resolution is hard to pin down. All vertical pixel counts performed have resulted in a vertical resolution of 900. However, horizontal pixel counts have concluded in varying results. The horizontal resolution seemingly varies from 1600 down to ~1300 (potentially lower). This indicates that the Black Ops 3 beta on Xbox One is using a dynamic resolution that scales down the resolution to maintain performance.
As always, please watch in HD (preferably 1080p) and 60fps for the best viewing experience.
