In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using Hunter with a Stun based strategy! Hunter is, I believe, rehabilitated in the Skul community, which is great to see. For a long time he was considered one of the worst characters in the game, but I've always said otherwise. He's always been good at Crit Items, as well as Strike runs and he also frankly isn't a slouch in raw damage% runs either. Not only that, but actual buffs over the years have also given Hunter new life, with his already powerful swap now dropping stun traps as well as all of his abilities receiving glow ups, Hunter is now a character people enjoy playing! Speaking of his stun traps, that's what we'll be using to scale today's run. It's one of the most consistent sources of stun in Skul, and we use that to our advantage to build around the status. Stun is the strongest of the two defensive statuses in the game, and arguably the strongest of all the statuses. Being able to stop your enemy clean in their tracks for long amounts of time and interrupt their attack patterns is very powerful. Plus, Stun has a ton of very powerful items in it's repertoire, such as Armor of Fear, Hand of the Destroyer, Warrior's Steel Mace, and Aftershocks. Also, after today's episode I may have to put another item into that list: Magic Beads of Darkness. Even though I'm a swap player, I never really paid any mind to this item, but today it's the main mechanism of my stun application. One every 3 swaps it stuns in an AoE and deals magic damage, but since it's a rare the damage it deals isn't all that impressive, but that doesn't matter because it's very consistent stun application when used to the maximum value. So, that's the idea for today, Hunter swapping and stunning like his life depends on it (it does lol). Joined by Ascetic, can this duo of physical skulls take a primarily magic damaging run and, with the power of Stun, make it work?
