It's the Tarascus again. The only difference, besides the Tarascus (and your crew) having higher stats (through level ups and upgrades), is that the Tarascus will summon "reinforcements" at set points in the fight. Since I just blasted the reinforcements before they could do anything, I have no clue what they actually do.

While this fight looks easy here, I'll admit my crew was way over-leveled compared to the usual playthrough. In this run, I took all the hardest paths, I upgraded the Kitchen as early as possible (so I could get the higher boosting EXP recipes earlier). I also had the Taranis upgraded as much as possible on a first playthrough (note: you can't actually max out the Taranis on the first playthrough, since the last set of upgrades requires materials that only appear on NG+) and these upgrades were finished by Chapter 11. For reference, I was only able to max out the upgrades RIGHT BEFORE the rematch with the Tarascus on Ch 12 on my very first playthrough.

Once you've defeated this boss, and you've fulfilled the conditions for the True Ending, you get to choose between seeing the Regular Ending or the True Ending.
