This is basically a glorified mini-boss. I think Jeanne even describes this boss as "not actually dangerous". The blue boss (Elwetritsch BX) has lower HP but can summon reinforcements while the red boss (Elwetritsch RX) can delay your gunners. If you've been leveling up Mei and Kyle, this fight is a cinch, but even if you haven't leveled them enough (and thus haven't gained their useful armor piercing AOE skills), it's still not a super difficult fight, especially if you make use of Chick and Socks' ever useful Risky Grenade to Stun Grenade or Flame Grenade combo.

If the blue boss ever summons reinforcements, Jin and Socks (if you've unlocked Minefield for him) can make quick work of the new goons. You can also use Heavy Cannons like Wappa and Boron, but accuracy is an issue for them.
