Today we continue our discussion of "Character - The Grandest Thing In The World", a book written by Orison Swett Marden and published in 1899. This is a fascinating book, and is labeled by many as one of the first of a wave of self-help type books that swept late 1800's America.

Chapter 5 discusses the intrepidity of spirit, proposing that great moral courage is an intrinsic part of character. We see examples of moral courage through action and inaction, and just how powerful they can be.
