Today we play another "walking simulator" by Tonguç Bodur! This one is described on the Steam Store page as: ""Purpose 1951" is an almost pure walking simulator set in the United States of 1951. You play as a retired doctor whose life falls apart."
Personally I was not a fan of the voice acting in this one. The story also felt a little disjointed and not as "emotionally heavy", if that makes sense. I understand the message that the story does try to tell though, but I think the voice acting and story could use a little more review and polishing to match the quality of the game aesthetic. Once again Tonguc Bodur crafts an amazingly beautiful world for us to walk through, however. I couldn't stop staring at the sky and the quality of the light streaming through the trees. If Tonguc Bodur ever decided to get into the market of simple walking simulators for virtual reality, he would find me a steady customer!
