Pax vobiscum!

Today we play another "walking simulator" by Togue Bodur, the same producer of "Loverowind". This was another enjoyable, atmospheric experience, which actually left me feeling a little refreshed. One of my favorite things in this world is walking through the forest while it is raining. There is something so calming about it, so magical as well. This game captures that wonderfully!

I would like to call Bodur's work, "literature-based walking simulators". The incorporation of the poems is intriguing, especially when placed in environments that accentuate or mimic what the poem is talking about. I love the buildup of the game with the buildup of the poem. We start out on a wooded path leading out of a town, and suddenly find ourselves in a beautiful, immersive, and surreal ending. A relaxing game that has a simple premise, if you are looking for something that features poetry and beautiful scenery, look no further!

I will say....there were two parts of the game that did startle me. Me and my "jumpiness!"
