So the disappointing news is, while I was recording Part 08, Game Capture HD crashed because of a .Net error. This happens on occasion and it's frustrating. Basically, Part 08 had Crono and friends heading back to 65,000,000 BC and helping Ayla defeat the Reptites and their leader Azala and his pet Tyano. This was the Unnatural Selection portion of the game.

Following the boss fight, Crono and friends find themselves on the floating islands of 12,000 BC. Much of the back half of this play session is me wandering around getting lost in time.

I must admit, I'm beginning to enjoy the game more than I initially expected. Again, this game is all about battle mechanics and I'm enjoying it. The story, I don't believe I'm that invested in the larger overarching narrative, but I am enjoying the character stories. Though, Crono is still just a kid who woke up and was thrust into a fight for the future of the planet.
