Playstation 1 is truly the 'Wild West' of video game systems. In the early days of 3D, it seemed like every developer tried to throw their hat into the massively popular PS1 ring and produced some of the most random, odd games of all-time. Recently, we sat down with a stack of PS1 games we never heard of, and the results are... unsurprising.

Rascal was released on March 27, 1998 as a Playstation exclusive, and was developed by Traveler's Tales (Sonic 3D Blast, Crash Twinsanity, like every LEGO game), and published by the absolute Giga-Chads at Psygnosis.

Listen, I'm not saying this game is great, or even good, but it is definitely way better than Trevor gave it credit for when we first started the video. Is it a game I would continue playing? No. Is it a game that seems a little bit too grand (re: too big of a map) for it's own good? Yes. But you can do far, far worse than Rascal for PS1 collect-a-thon games. Thanks for watching!
