We're here with the final part of Guitar Hero: Smash Hits! This is a game that I was very much looking forward to before it came out, and I did play it a bit on PS2 back in the day (that was our console of choice for Guitar Hero).

Unfortunately, Smash Hits uses the World Tour engine, which is potentially the worst engine in Guitar Hero / Rock Band history. The slide notes simply do not work, the shared Star Power is confusing, and almost every song longer than 5 minutes long eventually gets off-synch by the end. Luckily, Guitar Hero 5 and Warriors of Rock have much better engines --- after this game, we'll be playing Guitar Hero Metallica, so look out for that - thanks for watching!
