The Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria, CIPMN is taking steps to prevent cases of project abandonment and Quackery in Nigeria.

Speaking at a three-day induction and training programme in Abuja, organised for members of CIPMN, the Registrar, Henry Mbadiwe, emphasised need for proper project planning and management.

He said the Institute would henceforth focus on implementing effective strategies to check the menace permanently.

The CIPMN Registrar also said innovation lies at the heart of sustainable development as it is the engine that drives progress as well as unlocks new possibilities.

The theme for the three-day programme is “Project Management at the Centre of Sustainable Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in Nigeria".
