It was a gathering of stakeholders in the automotive component manufacturing industry in Nigeria.

The meeting organised by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, in Abuja, Nigeria capital was to feel the pulse of the strategic manufacturers on how to better the nation's economy.

The automotive component manufacturers did not hesitate in pointing out the numerous challenges bedeviling their operations in the country.

They also spoke on internal conspiracies that are responsible in undermining their operations. Responding to the worries, the Minister of Industrial, Trade and Investment, Doris Anite said policies are being put in place to support the growth of the subsector.

It is expected that recommendations from the meeting with the representative of the automotive component manufacturing industry in Nigeria does not end up in government's shelf of obscurity as in the past but fully implemented to the overall benefit of the nation.
