Commando for the Commodore 64 by Chris Butler and published by Elite in 1986.

An arcade original game by Capcom in 1985. The Commodore 64 conversion was a game I used to play and enjoy a lot. Perhaps driven by the awesome soundtrack by Rob Hubbard. This version only has 3 levels (I think even the atari version had all 8) so is quite short but due to some suspect collision detection the game can be quite challenging especially when you reach the end of level gates with so many bullets and grenades on screen.

Once in the second loop I discard remaining lives to show game over/high score music.
