With five Corpse Party games under his belt, both official and fan-made, Neo moves on to his sixth Corpse Party game, this time being another fan game called "Corpse Party if PAST END". "Corpse Party if PAST END" is a fan project made by AMISOGUMI, which serves as a remake and expansion of "Corpse Party if", an earlier work this same group made and released back in Februrary 2011. "Corpse Party if PAST END" was put into production by AMISOGUMI just 3 months after the release of the original game, and the American fan group "Memories of Fear" released an English translation of the game in March 20th, 2014.

"Corpse Party if PAST END" takes place after "ENDING RANK: C" of "Corpse Party: PC-98", 6 years after the events of PC-98. Yoshiki Kishinuma, the sole survivor from the events of PC-98, now works as a professor in his old high school. He still suffers from nightmares of his experiences within the supernatural school he and his now deceased friends found themselves in after they told each other about the tale of the young girl who died and disappeared many years ago at that same school, on a rainy day late at night when they stayed over to clean up their classroom. A rainy day that is very much like the one that the events of this fan game start on, where Yoshiki, patrolling the deserted halls of the school, discovers one of his students, 17-year-old Akari Minamino, was stuffed inside a locker in one of the classrooms by some school bullies who decided to put her there, forcing Yoshiki to let her out once he discovers her.

After telling Yoshiki what occurred between her and her bullies, Akari suddenly asks Yoshiki if "something painful happened in [his] past", since, to her, Yoshiki seems to be sad about something all the time. Yoshiki, after pondering her question for a moment, decides to answer Akari's inquiry by explaining his tale of survival from 6 years ago, and how some of the actions he took to save himself ended up getting one of his friends from 6 years ago killed - and the guilt he's been forced to live with since then. After telling Akari this story, the young girl is struck speechless, and Yoshiki can't help but express doubt as to whether or not she even believes what he told her.

The two of them don't have long to go over what Yoshiki shared, however, because Yoshiki's recounting of his tale ended up serving as a trigger, along with the weather and time of day outside, to summon both him and Akari to a VERY familiar location: the same haunted school that Yoshiki found himself trapped in with his high school friends 6 years prior, although this time much of the school appears to have taken on an appearance that is similar but mostly different to what he's seen from back then.

Recognizing his mistake in telling Akari his tale where and when he did, he urges Akari to stay close to him, asking her to trust him to find them a way out of the haunted school, much like Yoshiki did all those years ago. History is repeating for both Yoshiki and Neo, and while Yoshiki focuses on finding a way out for himself and Akari, Neo can't help but wonder just what his 6th foray into the Corpse Party franchise will bring him THIS time...
