Corpse Party if PAST END (Pt 2): Neo & Akari Help Yoshiki Confront Ghosts From His Past
9[BLIND LET'S PLAY] - SPOILERS IN THE DESCRIPTION! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
As Neosekken continues to guide Yoshiki and Akari through the haunted school, solving various puzzles and finding ways to deal with each threat that comes their way (with the biggest one so far being the anatomical model that was in the science lab that Neo encountered in the first episode), all three of them eventually begin encountering ghosts that have VERY specific ties to Yoshiki himself. The first ghost they encounter is Ayumi Shinozaki, who has a melancholic conversation with Yoshiki about everything that happened 6 years ago, and how Yoshiki has been struggling with his guilt for surviving ever since. They also talk about how the school Ayumi has been trapped in has been amplifying her resentfulness as time went on, until eventually it corrupted her to wanting to see Yoshiki pay for abandoning her when she needed him most. When they begin talking about how she took her revenge on someone named "Sayako", another spirit suddenly appears, one that appears to be a high school girl with a glowing, dangerous red aura, and attacks Ayumi's spirit before vanishing.
With no idea as to the identity of this new spirit and having no knowledge on who this "Sayako" character is, Neo presses on as he ponders these two mysteries. Soon enough Neo begins encountering more of Yoshiki's deceased classmates, namely Satoshi Mochida and his younger sister Yuka. The encounters Neo and Yoshiki have with the Mochida siblings takes on a similar tone to the one Yoshiki had with Ayumi, and Neo finds himself having to try and bring peace between the two siblings after he learns that the two haven't been talking to each other after Yuka killed Satoshi after he and Yoshiki escaped the haunted school alive 6 years ago.
One other ghost from Yoshiki's past that Neo encounters after running into Satoshi and Yuka ends up having a decisively more hostile reunion with Yoshiki by attempting to drown Akari to death in a bathroom stall, and once Neo and Yoshiki piece together some of the angry remarks this spirit says to discover her identity they get Satoshi's help to calm her down, during which she reveals herself to be Naomi Nakashima, one of Yoshiki's friends who died 6 years ago, but in such a way that brought intense feelings of resentfulness in her heart that the school amplified until it turned her into a vengeful spirit. After calming the rage in Naomi's heart and having yet another melancholic conversation with Yoshiki about everything that's happened in the past 6 years, Neo and co. resume their search for a way back to the moral world.
But there is one other ghost that haunts the school that has ties to Yoshiki's past that Yoshiki still has to deal with: Sayaka Kasui, the same spirit that attacked Ayumi earlier, who now serves as the new foundation that is keeping the haunted school together after the original was appeased 6 years prior. To make matters worse, she has it out for Yoshiki, and once she confronts him and Akari directly it doesn't take long at all for things to start going downhill for everyone, Yoshiki especially...
