[MOSTLY BLIND LET'S PLAY] - NOTE: THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF MY FIRST RUN OF UNDERTALE! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THAT FIRST BEFORE CHECKING OUT THIS SECOND RUN AS THERE WILL BE SPOILERS APLENTY! ALSO, SPOILERS IN THE DESCRIPTION, SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Leaving the Waterfall Caves and the toughest challenge he has faced in Undertale thus far behind him, Neosekken enters the Hotlands. Going through Dr. Alphys' lab, he encounters no sign of the Doctor herself, but still runs into Mettaton, who tells Frisk and Neo that Dr. Alphys had already begun evacuating most of the Underground's residents to somewhere safe, where Frisk will be unable to reach them, before moving on ahead when it becomes clear to Mettaton that Frisk isn't impressed by anything Mettaton tells him.

Deciding to go after Mettaton, Neo enters the rest of the Hotlands, where he begins his latest massacre, turning everyone and everything he comes across into dust. He then moves on to the Core when he finds himself unable to find anyone else to kill, resuming his killing spree the second new monsters begin to appear. One by one they all fall, most not even posing a serious challenge in any way to Neo whose attacks cut through them as though they were butter. It takes a little while, but eventually the monsters stop coming, making Frisk grow ever stronger. But before leaving the Core, Neo and Frisk encounter Mettaton once again, who decides to stop playing around and begin fighting Frisk, but in a new, imposing form that Neo has never seen before. Unfortunately for Mettaton, when faced with Neo's awesome might he ultimately ended up having more bark than bite...

With the Underground virtually deserted by this point, Neo begins making his way to the Capital... and on his way there he encounters Flowey, who proceeds to tell Neo of the story of when he woke up as a flower after having died when his and the First Child's plan to harvest human souls failed... and how he discovered his power to revive and reset whatever timeline he's in through the power of Determination. But as Flowey is finishing up his tale, he mentions how he and "Neo" are the same - how they would be willing to kill each other if they got in one another's way, since they have no room for any pity in their worlds. But it is then that Flowey seems to realize what he just said, and as soon as this realization hits him he begins trembling in fear...
