Undertale [2nd Run] (FINALE): Neo Defeats the Hardest Boss He's Ever Faced, then Destroys EVERYTHING
[MOSTLY BLIND LET'S PLAY] - NOTE: THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF MY FIRST RUN OF UNDERTALE! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THAT FIRST BEFORE CHECKING OUT THIS SECOND RUN AS THERE WILL BE SPOILERS APLENTY! ALSO, SPOILERS IN THE DESCRIPTION, SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Giving chase to Flowey, who fled into Asgore's castle, Neosekken is stopped by a familiar face, one he hasn't seen since his last visit to Snowdin. With his last few deaths at the hands of this individual at the end of the previous episode, Neo knew that he'd be in for a rough fight, and so the next time he could sit down and play another session of Undertale he'd do everything he could to prepare himself for this latest challenge.
Neo then proceeded to spend the next two days getting his ego spanked MERCILESSLY, between two different recording sessions (the second session is the only footage you see in this video, since Neo, believing at the time that the first video would effectively be little more than filler content because no one would likely want to see a video where he ultimately fails to get past this boss and therefore make no real progress in progressing the story forward, decided in his frustration to delete it right after he was forced to call it quits the first night. He regretted doing this the next day, because he thought retroactively that some of you might've found his suffering in this first recording session to be funny.). Two recording sessions between two days each that roughly totaled over 7 1/2 hours of non-stop self-inflicted suffering and misery, curtesy of Neo's homicidal tendencies in this second run and a certain someone's desire to make. Neo. PAY for his sins. ALL OF THEM.
There were adrenaline rushes as Neo dodged absurd attacks. There were revelations about this character to be had. There was lots of cheap deaths inflicted on Neo, most admittedly as a result of his own errors. And there were times where Neo growled, gnashed his teeth, exhaled with shaky breath and outright spoke "Angrish" as he perservered. Eventually time began losing meaning to Neo - he even stopped speaking altogether after a while as he focused all his concentration in getting past this boss. Indeed, it wouldn't be an exaggeration at all to say that this boss is most likely the hardest boss in a video game that Neo has faced in years, if not his entire life, due to how blatantly unfair the fight itself is designed. So unfair, in fact, that there were several times in the second day of fighting that a part of him just wanted to just give up the fight altogether, but Neo kept pushing himself to continue...
Eventually, Neo's perserverence would pay off, and after finally managing to defeat an opponent that made the boss from Part 3 of this second run of Undertale feel like an early-game boss by comparison, is allowed to continue further into the castle, although not before being forced to witness a tragic scene that makes Neo question if everything he's been doing throughout this entire run would be worth it in the end. After deciding to continue on, Neo eventually enters Asgore's throne room. It is from this point onward that the consequences of Neo's actions begins to manifest in a horrifying way, and before he knows it Neo finds himself seemingly going down a path of no return -- and he has no one to blame but himself...
